Lilydale is a small and secluded first-ring suburb located south of St. Paul, along the Mississippi River. Much of it is on a bluff, providing residents with beautiful views of the river. Lilydale Regional Park, with hiking paths and canoeing, is neighbored on one side by the river and on the other side by Pickerel Lake.
Lilydale’s location is part of what makes it great. Although it only technically has one restaurant within city limits, it’s right next to Mendota Heights and across the river from the Highland Park neighborhood in St. Paul, each with many wonderful restaurants. In addition, it’s less than a 15 minute drive to the MSP airport, making travel that much more efficient.
