Osseo

Osseo is a small second-ring suburb nestled in between Brooklyn Park and Maple Grove, giving its residents access to the amenities in each of those cities with a lower median housing cost. Osseo’s downtown is centered around Central Ave., and gives the city a historic small town feel in the middle of bigger cities. Speaking of “historic”, Osseo’s water tower, which was built in 1915, is even on the national register of historical places.

Osseo is just to the west of US 169, which allows quick drives north to Anoka and south to cities like Shakopee, Eden Prairie, and even farther south like Iowa.

There are two city parks in Osseo, where they host many annual community events, along with more frequent events like movies in the park and a farmers market.

Osseo is a great home for anyone looking for a smaller town but without sacrificing the amenities of larger cities.
